The Fort Pierce Utility Authority has increased bulk water and sewer rates to the District which triggers an automatic adjustment to District rates. The Florida Public Service Commission has also established its annual inflation utility price index increase. A report detailing these automatic rate adjustments was presented to the SLC Board of County Commissioners at its meeting on Dec. 18 and approved. The automatic rate adjustment is effective Feb 1, 2020.
