St. Lucie County’s beaches are manned by Ocean Rescue Life Guards. Our Ocean Rescue Life Guards are Florida State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians. As Emergency Medical Technicians they are CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certified. Currently all St. Lucie County beaches are open. While there have been low levels of red tide reported at Dollman and Waveland beaches. There have been no reported human health impacts or fish kills due to red tide in St. Lucie County.
