The Basics
Infants through Pre-K complete 12 hours of reading, grades K through 5 complete 12 hours of reading, teens complete 15 hours of reading. The library has plenty of books to choose from, including free e-books, e-audiobooks and books-on-CD.

Reading can be digitally tracked on your phone with the Beanstack app. The Summer Reading Challenge starts June 6 but you can sign up anytime--add your phone number or email to your Beanstack account to receive a reminder notice on day one!

Grand prize drawings for each age group!
All infant to pre-K kids who complete the 12 hours of reading will be entered in a grand prize drawing for a Pete the Cat doll and a board book collection. 

Kids grades K through 5 who complete the challenge will be entered in the grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire.

Teens who complete the challenge will be entered in the grand prize drawing for a $25 gift card.

Winners of the grand prizes will be notified by phone or email.

What counts as reading?
You can read to yourself, to someone else, or have someone read to you. You can read books, graphic novels, or listen to audio books.
