St. Lucie County is seeking applicants to participate in the Housing Rehabilitation/Replacement Program funded with the FFY 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Cities Program, HOME Investment Partnership Program, and FY 16/17, FY 17/18, and FY 18/19 State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) Program. This program is designed to perform general code related repairs and improvements or replacement, if necessary, for low to moderate-income homeowners. Items eligible for repair include roofs, heating systems; plumbing, electrical and other code related housing systems. All activities are subject to the availability of funds. Applying does not guarantee assistance. Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements for this program:

To be eligible to submit an application, all of the following must apply:

  • residence must be located in unincorporated st. lucie county;
  • the property must have a current homestead exemption;
  • the mortgage payments and property taxes must be current;
  • the total household income must not exceed the limits below:

This is not a complete list of eligibility criteria. Households are reviewed for eligibility on a case by case basis. Please note the income limits below are subject to change.
