Description
A 14-acre stormwater treatment train was constructed near the intersection of Melville Road and Noa Street to help provide flood protection. It will also reduce the nutrient loading to the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, which has been designated as an impaired water body for nutrients. A $1 million dollar grant was also received from the State of Florida’s State Water Quality Assistance Grant program to help make this possible.
