The Water Quality Division manages the construction of large-scale stormwater infrastructure projects designed to protect people and property from heavy rainfall events while also supporting safe, healthy waterways for the community. These projects include:

- Melville Road Stormwater Treatment Area Phase 2
- Harmony Heights Drainage Improvements
- Ancient Oak Preserve Wet Pond
- Indrio Savannahs Wetland
- Sheraton Plaza Stormwater Treatment Area
- Paradise Park Stormwater Improvements
- San Lucie Plaza Stormwater Improvements
- Citrus/Seager Stormwater Treatment Area
- County Baffle Box Program
- River Park Baffle Boxes (10 baffle boxes)
- Indian River Drive Baffle Boxes (4 baffle boxes)
- Harmony Heights Baffle Box
- Bell Avenue Baffle Box
- Edwards Road Baffle Box (coming soon)
Federal funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) of 2021, as well as the 2018 voter-approved Half-Cent Infrastructure Sales Tax, and County stormwater fees have made these, and other projects, possible.
