South 33rd Street between Okeechobee Road and Peterson Road was among the roads that received touch-ups in April and May. This stretch of road was milled and overlayed, a process in which the top layer of pavement is removed by grinding the street. Once removed, a coat of adhesive oil is applied. Following that step, a new layer of pavement is installed and leveled. This process creates a safer, more reliable road for motorists.
