The County GIS Division manages the Geographic Information System (GIS), which is used to collect, organize, and share location-based data across county departments. This system supports important services such as public safety, public works, planning, public utilities, mosquito control and environmental resources.

In addition, the division is responsible for assigning official addresses in unincorporated areas of St. Lucie County. This ensures that homes and businesses can be accurately located for emergency response, mail delivery, and utility services.
