Welcome to St. Lucie County Aquatics, where you and your child can learn to swim - thanks to Red Cross-approved swim lessons taught by certified swim instructors. All lessons run for 35 minutes and are $75 per session (financial aid is available). A session consists of 8 classes. Please carefully review the skills required for each class to ensure your child’s safety and best learning experience.

Registration

• You may register for swim lessons online or in person at one of our pools.
• Full payment is due on the same day as registration to ensure your spot is saved.
• If you are uncertain about which class to sign up for, we can help you choose the right class. Alternatively, you may review the criteria regarding each level online.
• Classes are group lessons filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Weather Policy

• Our swim lessons take place outdoors and are subject to cancellation due to unexpected weather.
• If we are closed before the unexpected weather occurs, and it will not clear up before a scheduled lesson time, we will attempt to call you about 30 minutes before your scheduled lesson start time. We may be unable to do so and ask you to be understanding the situation.
• If we need to cancel a class due to the weather, we will try to make up the class on one of two potential make-up days. However, we may be unable to do so if the make-up day has passed or multiple days are missed.
• If a class has begun and we need to end early due to weather conditions, if a class is over 50% of the way through, we cannot make up for that class. If a class is less than 50% of the way through, about 15 minutes, we will attempt to make it up.
• If there are more canceled days than we can make up, we unfortunately cannot accommodate for the lost lessons and apologize for the inconvenience.
