The Purchasing Division is the County's central procurement arm for acquiring goods and services, capital equipment, plans, studies, and construction. We strive to obtain the best value for the County's dollar while ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a legal, ethical, and professional manner. Central to the County's Purchasing philosophy is the concept of "Price with Value," while maintaining an "even playing field" for all bidders. The Purchasing Division accomplishes this goal by developing effective systems, methods and procedures for all County staff and vendors to follow, ensuring maximum return to our residents.
