Purpose
The Library Advisory Board exists to advise, recommend, and advocate for the library to the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners. The Board supports the work of the library and provides leadership to the library director as well as leadership to the community regarding library services and resources.

Meetings Held
Quarterly meetings are in January, April, July, and October, the 2nd Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Adjustments for legal holidays falling on Monday, and other conflicts may affect the schedule. Please refer to the annual Public Meeting Notice.

The Board meets in the 1st floor Meeting Room of the Fort Pierce Branch Library at 101 Melody Lane, Fort Pierce. As the Library closes at 5:00 PM on Mondays, please enter directly into the Meeting Room through the door on the southeast corner of the building, at the corner of Orange Avenue and Melody Lane.
