Kings Island Preserve

One hundred seventy-four acres of mangrove impoundment with a dike loop trail of nearly three miles.

Kings Island spans 174 acres and serves as both a preserve and a mosquito impoundment, overseen by the Mosquito Control District. Visitors are welcome to walk or bike along the dike loop trail, which is bordered by mangroves. The main trail features boardwalks that lead to smaller paths into the island, picnic pavilions for public enjoyment, wildlife observation platforms, and fishing access throughout the impoundment and lagoon.

The parking lot can be found at Jack Island Preserve. The link to Kings Island is situated on the southeastern side of Jack Island.
