Jones Hammock spans 7 acres and includes a half-mile loop trail winding through a hammock. This area has faced significant challenges due to invasive species, and restoration efforts are currently in progress to return the preserve to a more native ecosystem. At the far end of the trail, you'll find a picnic table and a canoe launch area.

Trail: Moderate. Experience a self-guided interpretive trail that spans half a mile.
Habitat: Disturbed Hydric Hammock and Floodplain Marsh

Before You Go

There is no designated parking area; access to this preserve is via the sidewalk on Bell Avenue. The closest parking can be found at Sweetwater Hammock Preserve.
