Members at work in the Sunshine Kitchen
The Sunshine Kitchen serves businesses making everything from hot sauces and small-batch jams to full catering menus and food-truck specialties. The mix changes constantly as members grow, scale up, and launch new product lines. What stays consistent is the quality of the space and the people who make it work.
For a food entrepreneur, building or leasing a private commercial kitchen is rarely realistic. Renting time at the Sunshine Kitchen makes it possible to start small, test products, and grow on the right schedule, without the cost of a build-out or a long-term lease.
Beyond the kitchen itself, members have access to support from Indian River State College, UF/IFAS Cooperative Extension, and the Florida SBDC at IRSC. That mix of physical space and expert backup is what helps members move from idea to actual sales.
