Welcome to the Sunshine Kitchen
Take your Business to the Next Level!
Maximize your culinary business with a shared kitchen setup.
The Sunshine Kitchen, located off Kings Highway in Fort Pierce, is a state-of-the-art food incubator where chefs, caterers, food truck operators, and home-grown food entrepreneurs can hone their culinary skills and turn ideas into marketable products.
This 10,000-square-foot facility provides year-round, 24-hour-a-day access for members to produce, package, and market their food business items. Say you have an amazing homemade mango salsa and want to develop it into a marketable commodity. Instead of navigating the red tape of health and safety regulations on your own, the Sunshine Kitchen can be your one-stop site to focus on creating, packaging, and selling your product.
The facility offers professionally equipped, commercially licensed, multi-station kitchen space designed to support a variety of needs, including private events, classes, and bottling and packaging activities. The Sunshine Kitchen partners with Indian River State College and the UF/IFAS St. Lucie County Extension office to provide training and classes to its members.
The Florida Small Business Development Center at Indian River State College recently presented the 2025 Annual Award to the Sunshine Kitchen at the Sept. 16, 2025, St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners meeting.
