Funding

Continue to identify and secure funding sources, allocate resources effectively, and ensure financial transparency in the use of funds dedicated to addressing homelessness.

Housing

Continue to promote the development of affordable housing and support programs that provide temporary, transitional, or permanent housing solutions.

Education

The Homeless Advisory Committee is committed to fostering a deeper understanding of homelessness and its root causes within our community. To this end, the committee will actively promote and coordinate educational efforts aimed at increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting informed decision-making among stakeholders, service providers, and the general public.

Data Collection

The Homeless Advisory Committee recognizes that effective solutions to homelessness must be grounded in accurate, timely, and comprehensive data. To better understand the scope, characteristics, and needs of the local homeless population, the committee will prioritize the collection, analysis, and sharing of data as a foundational strategy in its efforts.
