The purpose of the Citizen's Budget Committee (CBC) is to establish a budget development process in order to increase county government efficiency by improving business and management practices and ease the problem of future government growth caused by the demands of a growing population.

The CBC was created byResolution 91-221 and amended by Resolution 93-77.
Membership Details
The committee shall consist of no more than fifteen (15) members who shall not be staff members - two appointed by each Commissioner and one appointed by each Constitutional Officer
The committee members shall possess special expertise and experience in managing large businesses, but the membership shall be balanced in representing views of the entire community.
Appointment Terms
Members' appointments run concurrent with the Commissioners' or Constitutional Officers' terms.
