Area Regional Transit – ART On Demand is a neighborhood-friendly service similar to ride-hailing services for residents in the southwestern portion of Port St. Lucie (Zone 1), the St. Lucie West/Torino Area (Zone 2), and SW Fort Pierce /Treasure Coast International Airport (Zone 3). The service operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
To access ART On Demand, riders would first need to install the “ART On Demand” app on their smartphone. This will make it possible for them to schedule customized curb-to-curb trips. If a rider’s trip is within a particular zone, the trip origin and trip destination take place in only one zone, they can book the trip without using meet-up points.
Riders can travel in and out of zones by booking their trip to one of the meet-up points shown on the maps. From the meet-up point, they would book the address of their end destination.
