Lewis Library’s ArtSpace Features Two Local Artists Through Dec. 28

Post Date:11/01/2019 7:57 AM

The Paula A. Lewis Branch Library ArtSpace program features two local residents. Works by Ronda Wershba and Caridad Faust will be on display inside the library now through Dec. 28

Wershba studied art at the New York Institute of Technology, later receiving a master’s degree in counseling from the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. She has lived in Charleston, WV from 1975 to 2008, and is now a full-time resident of Port St. Lucie. Her passion is painting with vibrant hues in both abstract and Impressionist styles, as well as mixed media. She has shown her paintings at several Civic Center juried exhibitions and has won several awards for her work.

Faust arrived in the United States from Cuba in 1971 and resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. until 1981, when she moved to Florida. Based in Port St. Lucie, Faust’s works with multiple mediums like acrylic, pastel, pencil, ink and pen, but she mostly creates her paintings in oil. She paints straight from the heart and enjoys painting, because it allows her to express herself. Faust’s paintings attract people with her expressive technique and a touch of heart on a deep emotional level.

Residents interested in displaying their artwork as part of the library’s non-commercial ArtSpace area should contact Kasha Barska at 772-871-5482 or barskak@stlucieco.org.This is not a commercial venue. Artwork is displayed for enjoyment purposes only.
