Limited Certification Pesticide License Training Workshop Offered Oct. 23
Commercial Landscape Maintenance workers who want to legally apply “Caution” labeled pesticides, including herbicides in ornamental beds in and around the landscape, are required by law to be in possession of a valid chapter 482 “Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance license.” In order to obtain this license, the operator must attend a six-hour Certified Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance (LCLM) training workshop and pass the LCLM exam with a grade of 75 percent or higher.
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the St. Lucie County Extension Office will be offering the certified six-hour Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance Training workshop that is needed to apply for the 482 Limited Certification Landscape Maintenance pesticide license.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 23
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Review and Test to follow immediately after training
Where: St. Lucie County Hurricane House, 8350 Picos Road, Fort Pierce, Fla. 34945
Registration Fee: Registration Fee: $50 (includes materials, continental breakfast, lunch and snack), can be paid online with credit card via EventBrite or in person on the day of the training with check, cash or money order. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. A maximum of six CEU’s will be available (three-Core 487 & 482; three-LCLM; three-Limited L&0; three-O&T).
