John B. Parks Complex, including Lawnwood, Closed for Maintenance July 24-26

Post Date:07/10/2019 7:30 AM

The John B. Parks Sports Complex, including Lawnwood Stadium and all fields (baseball, softball and soccer), will be closed to the public from Wednesday, July 24 through Friday, July 26 as St. Lucie County’s Parks, Recreation and Facilities staff preforms summer maintenance and repairs. This closure will not impact the Lawnwood Tennis Complex.

St. Lucie County asks that residents avoid using the stadium and fields inside the John B. Park Sports Complex, located at 1302 Virginia Ave., during this time, so crews can expedite the maintenance that needs to be done.  The closure may be extended depending on the weather and other factors.

For those looking to exercise, St. Lucie County has more than 42 miles of trails on its 10,000-plus acres of nature preserves. For an interactive map of all county parks and preserves visit
