Nominees Sought For St. Lucie County Children Services Council

The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners is currently seeking applications from residents desiring to be nominated for appointment by the Governor to serve on the St. Lucie County Children’s Services Council. 

The Board of County Commissioners will submit three nominations to Gov. DeSantis for each vacancy. The Governor will make a selection within a 45-day period or request a new list of candidates. 

Nominees must have been a resident of St. Lucie County for 24 months prior to submitting an application.  The term is for four years. The Children’s Services Council provides services for all children of the county and is dedicated to the welfare of children of the county.

Interested persons should submit a letter of interest and resume to Kelly Phelan, Advisory Board Administrator, 2300 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, Fla.  34982.  The deadline for submission is Wednesday, June 26.
