St. Lucie County Communications Earns Multiple dotCOMM Awards
ST. LUCIE COUNTY – St. Lucie County’s Communications Department recently received recognition from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals’ (AMCP) 2026 dotCOMM Awards, honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication.
St. Lucie County was awarded:
- A Gold Award in the short-form video category (less than 30 seconds) for the Instagram reel about lithium batteries at the landfill.
- A Gold Award in the video series category for the Oxbow’s “What’s that Organism” series.
- A Gold Award in the environmental issues video category for the 2026 sea turtle nesting season video public service announcement regarding beach renourishment, sea turtle nest relocation and monitoring.
- An Honorable Mention Award in the short form video category (less than 60 seconds) for the “SLC in 60” series on Facebook and Instagram.
- An Honorable Mention Award in the safety video category for the Water Safety Month video public service announcement featuring St. Lucie County’s Ocean Rescue staff.
More than 2,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and dozens of other countries were submitted to the 2026 dotCOMM Awards competition. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, government agencies, digital shops, advertising agencies, public relations firms, production companies and freelancers. The dotCOMM Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the largest, oldest evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry. Since its inception in 1994, AMCP has judged more than 325,000 entries from throughout the world. Two of AMCP’s competitions, the MarCom Awards and the Hermes Creative Awards, each attract more than 6,500 entries each year.
