Kinnamon's works have been shown at the "Trash to Art Show" at the Joplin Public Library and the "Wearable Art Show" at Spiva Center, both in Joplin, MO (where her artistry was even captured for the print media campaign). She also exhibits in the Okeechobee Public Library, and a particularly captivating piece of hers found its way into the esteemed halls of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her art hangs in the 2nd Street Art Gallery, as well as at Cool Beans II in Fort Pierce.

Kinnamon’s use of a range of discarded and archival materials is an exhibition of talent. With a flick of her brush and a dollop of glue, she transforms forgotten treasures into vibrant spectacles. Her muses? A whimsical parade of hats, cats, books, dreams and the occasional burst of epiphany. Her recent adventures have led her down various paths, focusing her magical touch on collage, paper mache, fabric art and painting. She delights in weaving movement into her creations, breathing new life into materials as they undergo their fanciful metamorphoses.

Residents interested in displaying their artwork as part of the Kilmer Library’s non-commercial ArtSpace area should contact Librarian Delphine Newton at 772-462-2787 or email her. This is not a commercial venue. Artwork is displayed for enjoyment purposes only.

The Susan Broom Kilmer Branch of the St. Lucie County Library System is located at 101 Melody Lane in downtown Fort Pierce. For more information about programs, visit the St. Lucie County Library site.
