Each week, St. Lucie County updates a log of road closures so that you're aware if your commute may be impacted. Closures this week include:
North 41st Street Closure (May 11-15, 2026)
- Closure Type: Temporary closure between North 40th Street and Avenue B
- Start Date: 7 a.m. 5/11/2026
- End Date: 5 p.m. 5/15/2026
- Time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Reason for Closure: Culvert pipe replacement
- Details: A portion of North 41 Street, between North 40th Street and Avenue B, will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from May 11, 2026, through May 15, 2026, so a deteriorated drainage culvert pipe may be replaced. Local residential access to homes will be maintained during this time. The roadway will be reopened to traffic by 5 p.m. each day.

Jenkins Road Closure (May 12, 2026 only)
- Closure Type: Temporary closure just north of the intersection at Midway Road
- Start Date: 7 a.m. 5/12/2026
- End Date: 5 p.m. 5/12/2026
- Time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Reason for Closure: Roadway paving
- Details: A portion of Jenkins Road, just north of the intersection at Midway Road, is scheduled to be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 12, 2026. During this time, roadway paving of the intersection related to the Midway Road Widening Project will take place.

Post Office Road Closure (May 14, 2026 only)
- Closure Type: Temporary closure just north of the intersection at Midway Road
- Start Date: 7 a.m. 5/14/2026
- End Date: 5 p.m. 5/14/2026
- Time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Reason for Closure: Roadway paving
- Details: A portion of Post Office Road, just north of the intersection at Midway Road, is scheduled to be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 14, 2026. During this time, roadway paving of the intersection related to the Midway Road Widening Project will take place.
- Public Announcement: Post Office Road Closure (May 14, 2026 only)
Seagrape Drive Closure (May 18-22, 2026)
- Closure Type: Temporary closure between Easy Street and Bartow Street
- Start Date: 7 a.m. 5/18/2026
- End Date: 5 p.m. 5/22/2026
- Time: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Reason for Closure: Culvert pipe replacement
- Details: A portion of Seagrape Drive, between Easy Street and Bartow Street, will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. from May 18, 2026, through May 22, 2026, so a deteriorated culvert pipe may be replaced. Local resident access to homes will be maintained during this time. The road will reopened to traffic by 5 p.m. each day.

Johnston Road at Canals 16 & 17 (North of Meadowood)
- Closure Type: Temporary closure at Fort Pierce Farms Water Control District (FPFWCD) Canals 16 and 17
- Start Date: 3/30/2026
- End Date: 6/30/2026
- Time: 24 hours/day
- Reason for Closure: Culvert repairs
- Details: A portion of Johnston Road, at Fort Pierce Farms Water Control District (FPFWCD) Canals 16 and 17, will be closed beginning March 30, 2026, to replace both of the failing drainage culvert pipes beneath the roadway. The road is expected to remain closed for approximately three (3) months while work at both culvert locations is underway.

Port St. Lucie - Floresta Drive
- Closure Type: Fully closed from SE Fallon Drive to just north of Evergreen Terrace
- Start Date: 7/7/2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Time: 24 hours/day
- Reason for Closure: Drainage work
- Details: Floresta Drive is fully closed from SE Greenway Terrace to just north of Evergreen Terrace to allow construction crews to install key components of the area’s storm drainage system. This is part of Phase 3 of the Floresta Drive Improvement Project.

Old Dixie Highway Bridge over Taylor Creek
- Closure Type: Full road closure
- Time: 24 hours/day
- Details: Old Dixie Highway Bridge over Taylor Creek, approximately 1/4 mile south of State Road A1A, remains closed to the public.
