St. Lucie County’s Museum Pointe Park Hosts National Kids to Parks Day May 16

people sitting in lawn chairs at an outdoor concert hosted by the St. Lucie County Parks and Recreation DepartmentSOUTH HUTCHINSON ISLAND – In recognition of National Kids to Parks Day, St. Lucie County’s Parks & Recreation staff is scheduled to host a free event at Museum Pointe Park on Saturday, May 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event encourages children and families to get outside and enjoy local parks, featuring Rec & Roll activities such as interactive games, sports, a bounce house and hands-on recreation. The Chub Dubbers Volkswagen Car Club, Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health, Neptune Spear Division U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, the St. Lucie County Regional History Center and multiple St. Lucie County departments are scheduled to be there engaging with families.

Located at 414 Seaway Drive at the foot of the Causeway Bridge, Museum Pointe Park features a playground, covered pavilions, large oak trees and is home to the St. Lucie County Regional History Center and St. Lucie County Aquarium, featuring the Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit.
