UPDATED: Public Announcement: Various Road Closures at FEC Rail Crossings between 4/22 and 5/8/2026
Temporary closures at FEC Rail crossings around St. Lucie County are planned for late April and early May, 2026.
A variety of closures at FEC Rail crossings around St. Lucie County are scheduled to begin April 22 so that Brightline can make safety improvements.
Temporary closures at FEC Rail crossings around St. Lucie County are planned for late April and early May, 2026. During each of these closures, Brightline will make various safety improvements at the crossings.
Updated Schedule (as of 4/16/2026):
April 22 through April 24, 2026 Closures: (Each of these closures is expected to be in place for a duration of two hours or less, weather permitting)
Harbor Branch Road, Wilcox Road. Michigan Street, Rouse Road, Torpey Road, Milton Road, Chamberlin Boulevard, St. Lucie Lane, Tarmac Road, Shimonek Lane, Avenue H, and Seaway Drive.
April 27 through May 1, 2026 Closures: (Each of these closures below is expected to be in place for a duration of one day or less, weather permitting)
Southeast Walton Road and Riverview Drive.
May 4 through May 8, 2026 Closures: (The closure below is expected to be in place for a duration of one day or less, weather permitting)
Orange Avenue
This schedule is contingent on weather, production, utility locates, and other factors. Motorists are advised to use extra caution within each of these locations and follow detour signs for alternative access.
