Public Announcement: Johnston Road Closure at Canals 16 and 17 (North of Meadowood)

A portion of Johnston Road, at Fort Pierce Farms Water Control District (FPFWCD) Canals 16 and 17, will be closed beginning March 30, 2026.

A portion of Johnston Road, at Fort Pierce Farms Water Control District (FPFWCD) Canals 16 and 17, will be closed beginning March 30, 2026, to replace both of the failing drainage culvert pipes beneath the roadway. The road is expected to remain closed for approximately three (3) months while work at both culvert locations is underway.

Please use extra caution and follow detour signs. A map is below for assistance.

Visible landmarks include I-95 to the west, Florida Turnpike, Meadowood Golf and Tennis Club southwest of the closure, and Harmony Estates to the southeast.
