Alternatives Public Workshop for PD&E Study on Glades Cut Off Road - Virtual

  • Date: 02/24/2026 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

St. Lucie County will host two  Alternatives Public Workshops for the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for Glades Cut Off Road from Range Line Road to Selvitz Road. A PD&E Study evaluates the social, economic, and environmental impacts associated with a planned transportation improvement project. The primary purpose of widening Glades Cut Off Road from two to four lanes is to add capacity and improve operational and safety issues.

This PD&E is being conducted and completed according to the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act and other related federal and state laws, rules, and regulations, which will qualify future phases of this project for federal funding, and this meeting is being advertised consistent with those requirements. For federal funded projects: The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT.

The Alternatives Public Workshops will be held virtually and in-person on the same day but at different times.
