Join the UF/IFAS Extension staff for a free, in-person workshop to learn how to confidently identify commonly confused native and invasive plants alongside their non-native look-alikes, covering a variety of species, including ferns, grasses, Ardisia, Passiflora, Ficus, Ludwigia, Nymphoides and more. Participants will gain hands-on experience and take a short identification quiz to reinforce your learning.

This free workshop is organized by the Treasure Coast Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CISMA) in collaboration with UF/IFAS Extension St. Lucie County. It is open to land managers, agency staff and anyone interested in Florida's plant life. It will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Indian River Research and Education Center, located at 2199 S. Rock Road in Fort Pierce.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for attendees.
