January 17 – Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption (2014) is based on the 2010 book by Laura Hillenbrand about an Olympian who endures life as a Japanese prisoner of war after surviving a plane crash in WWII. PG-13, 137 minutes.

February 21 – Beloved (1998) is based on the 1987 classic by Toni Morrison about a former slave who is haunted by her experiences. R, 172 minutes.

March 20 – All the King’s Men (2006) is a remake of the 1949 classic by Robert Penn Warren about a ruthless Louisiana politician (Sean Penn) PG-13, 130 minutes.

April 17 – The Light Between Oceans (2016) is based on the 2012 book by M. L. Stedman. WWI veteran and his wife raise an orphan who washed ashore on the isolated island where they live. PG-13, 132 minutes. 

*Please note, some films in this series are rated R. No one under 17 will be admitted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
