Wine at the Moon

Mark your calendar for the Wine at the Moon on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 10 p.m. This event will be a celebration of art and science, during a fun-filled evening of music, food and entertainment – and of course, wine – all under an autumn full moon on the grounds of the Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery, 4200 Johnston Road in Fort Pierce.

Presented by the Oxbow Eco-Center, Summer Crush, the Indian River Lagoon Science Festival, St. Lucie County, and the Smithsonian Marine Station, this is a lead-up event to the Indian River Lagoon Science Festival and the Procession of the Species on Saturday, Oct. 26 in downtown Fort Pierce. Wine at the Moon will feature music by local recording artists Nouveaux Honkies, as well as a full moon drum circle hosted by Kevin the Beatkeeper and night sky viewing with the Treasure Coast Astronomical Society. Food trucks will be on site offering a tasty selection of dishes. Wine will be available for purchase from Summer Crush Vineyard & Winery.

The event is open to the public and admission is free; however, donations will be accepted. All donations from Wine at the Moon will benefit the Indian River Lagoon Science Festival and Oxbow Eco-Center’s Procession of the Species.
