Summer is ending, but that doesn’t mean the fun needs to! Join an experienced guide, get outside and enjoy the natural wonders of St. Lucie County with the Environmental Resources Department's award-winning Guided Nature Program series. With over 11,000 acres of protected land in the county, there are plenty of opportunities to hit the trails. Whether it’s your first time joining the program, or your 100th time, there’s always something exciting to discover on St. Lucie County Preserves!
- Saturday, Sept 5 – A Life in the Wild Hike at Oxbow Eco-Center & Preserve (9:00am-11:00am) - Come join a fun hike centered around exploring the types of animals we may find in a place like the Oxbow Preserve. Focused primarily on mammals, we will talk about how animals use the urban environment and continue to thrive in green patches like these.
