Contractor Licensing

This site is designed to provide information and assistance to residents, contractors, and those looking to become a licensed contractor. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and we are located on the second floor of the county building at 2300 Virginia Ave. Ft. Pierce, Fl 34982.
We also license Motor Carriers. Motor Carriers include taxi cabs, limousines, and shuttle services. These businesses all require a Motor Carriers License. There is a Class "A" License which is required to be obtained by the owner and a Class "B" License which each driver is required to obtain.

The Contractor Licensing staff investigates all unlicensed licensed contractor complaints. All building without permit violations and construction site violations should be reported by calling (772) 462-1134.
