Special Olympics

Special Olympics S.L.C. has started up our Athlete Leadership Program again, you must be 17 years old, You must be able: to express yourself clearly, be dependable, be polite, have ability to communicate, can gather information from others, get along with others and be willing to help. In order to make the program a success, we need all the help we can get from the parents.
We need Mentors, parents to car pool, parents to help with phone calls and fundraisers.
We will meet every other Monday evening 6:30-8:00pm. At Maravilla Hall on 2622 Oleander Blvd. Next meeting will be Nov.19, 2007 there is no transportation, and you must get a ride. If you are interested, just show up at the next meeting. So far members of the Leadership Program are: Talona Berner, Kenyatta Johnson, Michael Bernard, Alex Perry, Terry Barker, Miguel Perez and Malcolm Gowdie-Harris.
