Section 62-342.600, F.A.C., requires that a mitigation service area (MSA) be established for each Mitigation Bank in the Mitigation Bank Permit. The MSA is the geographic area within which adverse impacts may be offset by the bank.

All areas included in the MSA for Bear Point are part of a contiguous mangrove dominated estuarine ecosystem in the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Lucie River, from the Brevard/Indian River County line to St. Lucie Inlet in Martin County.
