SLCTV

SLCTV is dedicated to providing St. Lucie County with the latest information on what's happening inside the walls of county government. From gavel-to-gavel coverage of St. Lucie County Board of County Commission meetings to ribbon-cuttings and ground-breaking ceremonies, SLCTV is there.

All Board of County Commission meetings are broadcast live on the first and third Tuesday at 6 p.m. and the second and fourth Tuesday at 9 a.m.  All meetings are rebroadcast at 9 a.m., noon and 6 p.m. daily. (Schedule subject to change).

St. Lucie County Code Enforcement meetings are broadcast live on the first Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. They are rebroadcast other times throughout the month.

Along with broadcasting various county meetings, SLCTV cooperates with the City of Port St. Lucie's Communications Department to bring you the City Commission's weekly meetings and the Transportation Planning Organization's monthly meetings.

SLCTV's programming isn't limited to just government meetings, you can also find the latest job postings, press releases and announcements on SLCTV.

Additionally, the Media Relations staff produces several studio shows including "10-8 St. Lucie," "Inside St. Lucie" and "The Lecture Hall." See the SLCTV Schedule for a detailed listing of program air times.


 "Inside St. Lucie" is a monthly program that focuses on issues facing St. Lucie County. Host Erick Gill, St. Lucie County's Public Information Officer, talks with County Commissioners and staff members regarding topics important to the community.

 

 


10-8 St. Lucie"10-8 St. Lucie" is a monthly show focusing on public safety from the St. Lucie County Sheriff's office. This show goes behind the scenes to give the you a look at some of the daily procedures of the Sheriff's Office, bringing you closer to the issues facing law enforcement and public safety officials.

 


The Lecture Hall

"The Lecture Hall" is a monthly show featuring visiting professors speaking on a variety of topics from environmental protection to arts and culture. Taped before a live audience at various organizations within St. Lucie County, local and regional experts share their experiences and personal knowledge with the community.

 


Postcards From Home

In an effort to encourage residents to vacation in their own backyard, "Postcards from Home" is a monthly show designed to highlight St. Lucie County's cultural and natural treasures from well-known parks, museums and nature preserves to some of its best kept secrets. Each episode will feature an in-depth interview with a staff member from the attraction, followed by a walking tour of the facility.

 


Postcards From Home

"In-Depth Conversation" is a special show that goes beyond the headlines and gets to the heart of current events. Host Public Information Officer Erick Gill meets with local experts as they dissect and discuss current issues and events that affect St. Lucie County residents. "In-Depth Conversation" airs at various times, depending on the subject and length of the program.

 

 


 SLCTV can been seen in Fort Pierce and unincorporated St. Lucie County on Comcast Channel 21.
