Thursday, May 19, 2011 - County Hosts Water Workshop June 3

St. Lucie County’s Water Quality staff will host a “Know the Flow” water workshop for residents, businesses and homeowner associations on Friday, June 3 from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Havert L. Fenn Center on Virginia Avenue.

Officials from various agencies including St. Lucie County, the City of Fort Pierce, South Florida Water Management District and the North St. Lucie River and Fort Pierce Farms Water Control Districts will discuss stormwater regulations, water quality issues, water-use restrictions and more.

This informational workshop is free and open to the public. In addition to hearing updates from area water officials, participants will have the opportunity to ask water-related questions.
