Monday, March 21, 2011 - Learn To Make Decorative Paper At The Oxbow April 2

Join the Oxbow Eco-Center on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. - noon as it teams up with the Treasure Coast Art Association to present a ‘Making Decorative Paper’ art class.

This fun, nature-inspired class explores the art of making decorative paper that can be used for scrapbooking, card-making, or any number of creative items like picture frames, journals, etc. Art instructor Barbara Fuller will guide participants in different styles of decorating paper, such as marbling, serendipity squares, combing, using pounded flowers, and more.

Don’t consider yourself an artist? Well don’t give up yet, making decorative paper may just help you discover your creative spirit.
