Monday, October 18, 2010 - Fall Judo Classes Underway At Fenn Center

St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation is offering fall judo classes twice a week at the Havert L. Fenn Center.

Judo is a combination of throwing techniques, grappling, wrestling and submissions that offer an opportunity to continuously improve strength, flexibility, speed, coordination and self-confidence. 

Classes for boys and girls, ages 6-16, are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6 -7 p.m. Adult classes are held on the same days from 7 - 8 p.m. The cost for either class is $45 a month. A Judo Gi uniform is not included in the program fee, but can be purchased from the instructor.
