Thursday, January 14, 2010 - Registration Underway For Youth Soccer

Registration is underway for youth soccer at Lawnwood Regional Sports Complex with practice starting Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Managed by St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation Department, youth soccer leagues are open to ages 4-13. The cost to participate in the 10-week season, which includes 10 games, is $75 per child. There is a $5 discount for each additional child. The registration fee includes a jersey, shorts and socks.

The Lawnwood Regional Sports Complex soccer season is scheduled to start Tuesday, Feb. 16. Practices will be held Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Games will be played Saturday mornings or Thursday evenings.
