Friday, October. 31, 2008 - Fort Pierce Library Hosts November Nature Talks With Capt. Lege
The St. Lucie County Library System announces the topics and dates for the Interactive Nature Series with Captain and Audubon Warden Chop Legé for November.Sponsored by the Marine Resources Council and the St. Lucie County Mosquito Control District, these monthly programs are free and open to everyone.
- Thursday, Nov. 13 from 3 - 4 p.m. at the Fort Pierce Branch Library: ''Tracking: Finding and identifying prints left by animals.''
- Friday, Nov. 14 at 1:30 - 3 p.m. ''Walk and Talk'' tour at Bear Point Sanctuary, 2601 S. Ocean Drive, Fort Pierce. Participants will need to meet the captain at the gates of the park, located on the west side of A1A on South Hutchinson Island.
Capt. Legé will resume his Interactive Nature Series at the Morningside Branch Library in December.
