The St. Lucie County Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring the ''Catch The Energy'' Master Swim Program, beginning Sunday, Jan. 6 at the Port St. Lucie Pool, 200 Ravenswood Lane.

The Master Swim Program is open to both novice and advanced lap swimmers ages 18 and older. Coach Ralph Johnsen brings more than 20 years of experience to this competitive swim team. Practices will be held Sundays from 3 - 4 p.m. and Mondays from 8 - 9 a.m.

The cost to participate is $5 per session with punch cards or monthly passes available.
