December 20, 2007 - Author To Present Problem Management Talk At Library Jan. 5

Jim Grigsby's book, ''Don't Tick Off The Gators: Managing Problems Before Problems Manage You,'' is an ''Irreverent Guide to Dealing With Problems and Crises In Your Professional and Personal Life.'' The author will be at the Fort Pierce Library on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. to discuss and sign copies of his book.

Grigsby is a marketing executive for a national healthcare consulting firm and a Certified Patient Accounts Manager and Certified Document Imaging Architect and has authored dozens of healthcare articles. His ''success and failure taught him the 32 lessons he reveals'' in the book. It provides one fictional scenario for each chapter, in which the character with the problem either solves the problem using the author’s simple suggestions or fails to solve the problem by ignoring the ''rules of the swamp.''

''Don't Tick Off The Gators'' offers light-hearted problem-solving skills for young people in today's competitive workforce, as well as at home. It offers examples with which they can immediately identify.

Come meet the author and hear his humorous presentation on the scenarios and lessons in his book and learn how to apply them in your business or personal life.

The book talk and signing is free and registration is not required.

The Fort Pierce Library is located at 101 Melody Lane. For more information, please call Vicki at (772) 462-2787.
