December 10, 2007 - St. Lucie County Has Three Pools Open Year Round
St. Lucie County's Parks and Recreation Department would like to remind residents that three county pools are open seven days a week, year-round offering lap swimming, open swim, water aerobics and rentals. All three pools are heated and kept at a comfortable temperature.- Lakewood Park Pool: St. Lucie County's newest facility located in the Lakewood Park Regional Sports Complex, 5990 Emerson Ave, Fort Pierce, has four 25-meter lap lanes, zero-depth entry, splash deck, barbeque grill and cabana rentals. - Open Space Pool: Offers a zero-depth entry, two 25-yards lap lanes, and a large covered picnic area. The Open Space Pool is located at the corner of Ave M and 13th Street, Fort Pierce. For more details call (772) 462-1903.
- Port St. Lucie Pool: Offers six 25-meter lap lanes, ample seating, heated showers, and two barbeque grills. The Port St. Lucie Pool is located at 200 Ravenswood Lane, Port St. Lucie. For more details call (772) 871-2183.
Water Aerobics is offered at the Port St. Lucie Pool and Lakewood Park Regional Park in the morning and evenings. Please call those pools for specific times and prices.

Pool Rentals are available for any occasion before or after normal operating hours. Contact one of the pools listed if you are interested in renting the facility. All of St. Lucie County pools are ADA compliant and handicap accessible.
