October 16, 2007 - Cafe Kulture Presents Doo Wop and Latin Music Oct. 26

The Morningside Branch Library and Hispanics in Action present Frankie ''D'' and the Rendition as part of ''Café Kulture'' on Friday, Oct. 26 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the library.

Frankie ''D'' and the Renditions will be performing ''oldies, but goodies'' music in a doo-wop style. Consisting of Guy Tann, Madeline Tanner, Lance Green and Frankie D, the group has been singing together since 1959 and has entertained audiences throughout the Northeast. Additionally, there will be a special guest appearance by Latin singer/guitarist Xavier Alejandro.

''Café' Kulture'' is a monthly event at the Morningside Library featuring local entertainers on the fourth Friday of each month. These monthly events are free and open to the public.
