"In Her Shoes," an exhibit highlighting the fashions, lifestyles and roles of women in the early 1900s through 1940 opens March 11th at the St. Lucie County Historical Museum in Fort Pierce."In Her Shoes" celebrates St. Lucie County's 1905-2005 Centennial, as well as National Women's History Month held in March. The artifact-rich exhibit features dozens of original clothing, fashion and handiwork items reflecting the changes in the lifestyles and roles of women in the early 20th century.
"The exhibit will highlight fabulous articles from the Museum's extensive textile collection, as well as vintage articles contributed by our staff and volunteers. This special exhibit will run through the end of May.

Scouts will also enjoy the baking and cooking of years past and celebrate the March 12th birthday of the Girl Scouts. Reservations are required.
