July 21, 2005 - St. Lucie County Marine Center Hosts "Artists in the Park"

The St. Lucie County Marine Center, located at 420 Seaway Drive in Fort Pierce, will host the "Artists in the Park" event on the grounds of the Marine Center. In an outdoor exhibit, professional artists will display and sell their artwork from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 6. This monthly show, weather permitting, features a number of well-known local artists. The show is free and open to the public.

The St. Lucie County Marine Center, which houses the "Smithsonian Marine Ecosystems Exhibit," will be open for visitors to view the natural objects and specimens on display in the saltwater aquariums. Additionally, visitors can travel back in time to early St. Lucie County and experience the community's rich heritage at the St. Lucie County Historical Museum.
