The St. Lucie County Library System is offering several community events during the month of March.

Author Marshall Frank, former Homicide and CSI Commander for the Miami-Dade Police, discusses his new murder mystery novel, "The Latent." Free. Medicare Part D (prescription options) Workshop will be offered by the St. Lucie County Library and Medicare RX Access Network. The American Red Cross and St Lucie County Library will be offering Babysitter's Training available for individuals ages 11-15 at the following locations and dates: Fort Pierce Branch -March 25; Lakewood Park Branch -May 20; and Morningside Branch -June 17. All classes are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and participants need to bring their own lunch and snacks. All participants will receive an American Red Cross Certificate Card.
