May 12, 2006 - St. Lucie County Parks and Recreation Department Announces Pool Opening and New Fee Structure

Fort Pierce - May 12, 2006 - The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners recently approved a new pool fee schedule for the Open Space and Paradise Park pools effective May 27 - the day both pools open for the summer. The daily user fee is $2 for the Open Space pool and $1 for the Paradise Park pool. The newly renovated Open Space pool is located at 1211 Avenue M in Fort Pierce. The renovations included the addition of a zero depth entry and heated water. Future additions to the pool include an interactive splash park. Paradise Park pool is located at 2020 Juanita Avenue in Fort Pierce. The County's third pool, Ravenswood pool - located at 200 S.W. Ravenswood Lane in Port St. Lucie, is open year-round and had previously charged user fees.
